I know that at the state level salary can significantly vary but this graph is laughable. Besides it being nearly an 8-year-old chart I would genuinely love to know what MD salaries they are averaging to get these numerics.

These are wealth numbers, not income.  Yet the median income for white families is 60k+.  It's not hard to imagine college educated white Americans are averaging 80k+ or more.  Overall, wealth speaks to what your own, which in turns speaks to who your grandparents were.

Again, these are wealth numbers.  This means white Americans who are college educated, have a median net worth of 180k.  That means they own their homes, they have 401ks, etc.  It's a common misconception when it comes to income vs wealth.  The interesting thing is white high school dropouts have more wealth than black college grads.  Yet I will tell you the truth, white high school dropouts make more money than black people with a two year degree or some college.
