Personal experience is frowned upon in here otherwise I’d be glad to share

What does personal experience have to do with the the racial wage gap between minorities and whites?   Like... what?

Your personal experience does not reflect an entire race or a systematic process.  I really hope you don't think that.

Black people with the same degree as white people still make far less.  This isn't a "personal-scale" level question you can solve with your own "personal experience".  It would be like LeBron James answering a question of if anybody can make it to the NBA using his own personal experience.

The last several years have been especially illuminating for me as a white man. I don't feel guilty for being a white male; it's something out of my control. However I can see the privileges I've had, and how, even if it comes from a sincere place, that telling women and minorities how I think they should handle their fights for equal rights/treatment will rarely be received in the way I intend it. It's tough to be relegated to a supporting role when you've been taught your entire life that you're supposed to lead from the front, but what I think they are looking for is for those of us who support them to truly support them. To have them tell us what their play is and let them know we've got their back. I support what Eric Reid is fighting for.

honestly your support is greater then you think, any person of color who thinks they can do it on there own is sadly mistaken and mislead. Harriet Tubman gained very very important support from white people in her route to freeing slaves, it is pivotal,  you efforts or opinions shouldn't be dismissed. Chris Long is a guy i'd highlight as a great example of what we need from the "other" side. You may very well be able to relay the overall message better to your race then a person of color would be able to.

The education thing isn’t anecdotal. It is very much factual.

It's literally like he's saying his personal experiences outweigh data and the lived experiences of anyone who support police reform and have a problem with police brutality. Maybe his problem isn't racism, it's his arrogance and narcissism

That black people commit all the crimes bc we are simply more apt to it

Got nothing to do with societal issues which put black people behind the eight ball, or racist systems which target poor black communities like stop and frisk

There have been countless police depts investigated by the DOJ that have been found to be racist in their policing practices, bc they target minorities and levy fines to generate revenue, but the poster you quoted is a racist and wants to paint black people as behaviorally deviant rather than ask questions about the how and why. Typical racist bullshit.

Is it racist to bring up dropout rates, single mothers and violent crimes within the AA community, after all Eric Reid did say you need to talk about issues to make them better. Are all these pressing issues I just brought up the white man's fault cause of slavery 400 years ago? Last i checked highschool was free and its your own choice whether u get a girl pregnant and stay or leave, also its your own individually decision to start committing violent crimes.

How are there so many successful Black Americans in America with all this "oppression" here.

In all honesty you make you own choices in life, if you want to be a street rat and be a piece of poo in life, dont blame your failures on anything other then yourself. Its always the same crowd of low life losers that want to use some Blanket Argument about racism and oppression for the reason they failed at life. When the same fuging person of your color accels through life and has a great career because they studied hard and did all the right things, and your sitting in some dumpster apartment with 0 savings blaming it on everyone but yourself.

That was sarcasm...

Would love to hear as to why YOU or other feel is to blame for the wage gap. I could give you a number of factors but why waste my time when I’m being called racist?
