Soldiers fought for their right to kneel and secondly they shouldn’t be forced to participate in an national anthem in the first place. That itself is unamerican. The fact that you can't see how kneeling alienates and offends a section of the population is crazy to me. You want me to see your point or the point of the protests? Then do it in a way that doesn't alienate and drive me away. How about the players don't kneel and use their platform in a different manner that draws attention to their concerns and draws folks like me to the table to talk about the issue. I can meet you half way but are you willing to walk the other half?

They literally have done everything you're asking for. Google Nate Boyer. He, a green beret, advised them to kneel as opposed to sitting on the bench becuz no one in their right mind is going to get pissed off at a peaceful protest where the participants don't make any scenes, just kneel. Unless you want to get angry about it. For other reasons. 

This is why i can't take people seriously who act angry about this. There are no acceptable methods of black people expressing themselves or saying "stop shooting us for no reason, you're supposed to protect us"

Mlk was even looked at as a trouble maker. White people weren't on his side til he got his head blown off.

It’s been specifically said that the protests are not against the military. If you are drawing another conclusion on it then that would be on you friend.

They did it in a way that they thought would best get your attention. That’s what protests do. Any other way and you might not notice at all or flip to the next station.
