WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE WHITES!!! LOL

This all came about because the conservative media easily convinced them they were victims. They honest believe it.

Now, as a moderator of a large FB group myself, it time for the mods to moderate.  Do your jobs. Push a button. Follow the guidelines you have set forth. Delete, move,, lock. Moderate

I'm not talking to PntherPryd here, he is doing a fine and thankless job.  And deserves more pie.  I am sure he is receiving disgusting personal messages from Carolina Chuck right about now.

I was around then.  I did.  Ali truly made an enormous sacrifice for what he believed in, and I am respectful of anyone who can do that.  Talk is NOT sacrifice, though.  It's talk.

Me, also. Ali's story ended with a conviction then pardon from Obama. Reid's and Kapernick's is just starting. What is interesting to me, though, is that in 1967 it was twisted to be against war in general and it wasn't at all. Ali's reason was ignored and buried. He even stated that he would be the 1st to sign up if the war was for a better reason. It's the same with kneeling today. The reason is ignored and buried as it is called disrespect for the flag, military and police. Things have not changed in 50 years and that's the biggest shame of all. Ali, however, did spur some of us to action and I  think 'kneeling' is having the same affect.

I don’t know what I should think. I need someone who’s white to validate Eric Reid’s opinions for me by letting me know how much they like him.

Can a white leftist from this website please give me his opinion on what a black man has to say about problems affecting black people? Thx bb.

you haven't collected enough white peoples opinions on /pol/?

This

I have those tweets and the whole presser in the Monday updates thread

I will say this.  The guy just wants to play sonee dam football.

Watching that interview.  You could tell after the 2nd or 3rd non football related question he seemed frustratedish

But the questions that came up football related as far as scheme, this team, Donte Jackson, Adams, etc.  He lit up

Agree, the media is trying to bait him & stir the pot. Where all here bcuz I thought we were Panther fans. Let the guy just play ball & we talk about his abilities to help the team. All the other nonsense is just that. Left , Right, Red, Blue, White, Hispanic, & Black . Who cares! Let it go... If a person treats you with respect & is just kind to you know matter race or views isn’t that enough? Grow up & move on. All the other crap is pretty petty. Keep Pounding!

His presser was a total disaster

Since I am hated on this board by many, I will say this, whether we agree or disagree

i don’t want our football team to be the means for Reid, or anybody else for that matter, to be used as a means to their own personal platform to show WHATEVER views they have on ANY political or social PERSONAL opinions

our football team should all about football...period

i'm proud of this fan base and these boards. a decade ago there would've been a thousand bull123s pulling on their hoods to oppose this and a few lone voices crying in the wilderness to back guys like reid. change is slow but the ship's rudder has been turned the number of fists in the air continues to grow.

Okay for everybody who can't comprehend what this is..

This is the "Well some white people didn't get something so it wasn't a racially motivated thing" argument..

Its similar to the "well there were some white indentured slaves" comment when discussing slavery..

It's claim is to make it seem like things were on equal footing by saying some white folks didn't get something just like all the blacks folks who didn't get it.. While neglecting the facts that this is still 20 somethings years before African American were allowed to vote, have equal education and pay on the same jobs or even eat, drink or live anywhere near these white ppl who didn't benefit from these programs..

Lol

Sir, I asked that the full article be read.  I can see you didn't.

Here's something else you didn't know, then: of the 20.1 million citizens excluded from the 1935 Social Security Act, at least 15 million were white.

15 out of 20 = 75%.  Some?

This Social Security racial connection is a postmodern historical revision, and one shouldn't buy into it, as you and Reid and many, many others have, as it fits their divisive narrative.  Please rethink it.

Go Panthers!  Go America!

Nobody is making you listen to his interviews.  Nobody is making you read about his interviews or the comments that he makes.  It is easy to go the whole week without hearing a peep from him while still being able to watch the game Sunday.  There is literally nothing forcing you to hear or read about what a player does in his spare time to help and empower a subset of the community.  If the announcers referring to it every now and then during the game bothers you, you can simply grab a beer and tune it out.

It is easy for football to just be football if you let it be.  The only person that can make you select on an Eric Reid thread is you.  There is no reason to think Reid won't come ready to play and ball out for our team Sunday.

Edit: A quick internet search shows that in 1940, there were around 118,000,000 white people in the U.S. and only around 13,000,000 black people. So while around 13% of whites were excluded, 39% of blacks were excluded. Reflect on this and tell me what relevance it would have to a football player, who's still seeing similar inequities, 80 years later.

Tell us again what kind of inequities this millionaire NFL player with freedom of speech has compared to those of 1935?

60-70%of this fan base deserves nothing good in life. There are truly some low life POS people on this board. Whats funny is the odd nature of hating Black people, yet so called cheering for a group composed of rougly 90% BLACK MEN. Then again, I can see why the posts in here are what they are. The musings of confused mental midgets and rural bigoted subhuman trash.

Since you're into name calling, sir, which (or both) would you call me?
