Falcons gonna Falcons

You're not wrong. Two 'fun' stats:

1) Matt Ryan is the first QB in history to lose back-to-back games with 350+ passing, 3+ TDs, and no picks

2) Teams that score 36+ at home without turning the ball over are 402-4. Two weeks ago, they were 402-2.

The defense is just THAT bad.

Nobody loses as well in historical fashion as the Atlanta Falcons.

And that Super Bowl loss to the Pats.

They haven't been able to overcome injuries to their key defenders.

That's part, and perhaps most of the problem, but plenty of regulars have looked horrid as well.

That the Neal / Allen / Jones - sized hole in the middle of the D is essentially free points for any team with a quasi-functional passing attack is expected. Poor corner and DL (outside of Takk) play is another, semi-standalone issue. Put together, along with the fact that the O scores quickly and often (or a really, really quick three and out), the Falcons are looking at a historically bad defensive season, statistically.

Well I,couldn’t get a Panthers win so I watched the Falcons loose.  Almost as satisfying.

Their board will light up about Eric Reid after this.  LMAO.

It was already lit up after the Saints loss. The center of our defense is roughly analogous to a landing strip for a C-5M Super Galaxy.
