He graded out as the best defensive player in the NFL through 3 weeks, but yea if your contract makes you that mad just sit out

I'd offer them a 2nd now, straight up. Broken bones are a fairly straightforward recovery process, he'll be running full speed in 3 months. Trade for him, sign him long term (along with Reid), have the best secondary in the league for the next 3-4 years.

I wouldn't go as high as a second. Maybe a 4th for the Seahawks and a lifetime pass to Huddle All Pro for Thomas. That should do it.

Notice I threw in the Huddle All Pro lifetime pass. That makes a team friendly deal long term deal much more appealing and we don't have to compete with the Cowgirls or Oakland in FA.

Giving up a 2nd for a guy who may not ever play here might be the dumbest suggestion I’ve ever seen on here and that’s saying a lot.
