Bruh you too confident. The Falcons could easily be 3-1. They lost 2 close games. You can't say we are hands down better than them when they already beat our ass.

Chill out my guy, it's a long season.

Their defense is ASS. They are not a threat in a loaded NFC. You can't win with a god awful defense for an extended period of time. By not a threat, I mean not a threat to our SB title hopes- if we can't beat Atlanta with that shitty ass defense, we don't need to worry about making a lombardi run.

Not to the point you mortgage your teams future by overpaying to win one year. You really think that anyone in this discussion doesn’t recognize what a pounding RBs take? The point is Cam is only taking 3-5 a game from this. Most like any QB, are in the pocket or scrambling. Something that has proven to be even more dangerous.

You’re using it as a reason to just go for it without concern for the future. And then tell us we want his replacement here. Why don’t you explain that one?

He wants it both ways. He wants to trade future assets to go all in this year. While letting Cam continue to be Cam as well. The let's worry about the future when it gets here approach.

Then, he also wants Cam to stop running, so he can be here for that future where they are short assets.

turning a 2nd round pick into a hall of fame safety isn't "mortgaging your future" lol what are you even talking about right now. i'd be opposed if we were still rebuilding but jesus the window is open now and at some point you have to do more than sit around and wait for your hall of fame quarterback to put together the single greatest season of all time.

the matt kalil contract, the andy lee trade, the munnerlyn signing. those are examples of wasting assets with no concern for the future. turning a low 2nd round pick into a hall of fame safety seems like a pretty good allocation of resources when you're talking about a team that could reasonably win a super bowl.

Hold on.... you keep saying a low 2nd round pick. I was having the conversation assuming you were willing to give up two 2nd round picks. Just want to make sure.

You're facing quite the uphill battle trying to convince the dad jeans wearing/store brand buying Panthers fans around here that parting with 2 draft picks for an elite player is worthy of any consideration.

sorry.....my pimp outfit was in the shop.

It is just a shame you had to ruin that sick burn, by downplaying the value of those 2 draft picks.

i mean i said from the beginning i don't think they're getting two and cited adam schefter's report from this morning saying they were holding firm at one 2nd round pick. i think the best they could hope for would be something like what soja posted

Well then that was a bunch of crap about not much difference. I’d do it for one 2nd too, with an extension. That’s not unreasonable. My bad.
