Just looking at this division, he’s the biggest asset we could add besides a de. Atl and saints offense look unstoppable, the bucs, although get beat like Tina, are still high powered as well, and there defense is all playing horrible.

still 2 2nds are too high but I’d definitely be on the phone bartering

the way he plays the game isn't exactly a style that leads to a long lasting career. he's a great passer but what makes him a lock for the hall of fame is the same thing that he's going to either have to stop doing or be forced by injury to stop doing and that's being the best short yardage back in the league. people who advocate trading draft picks for superstars are called short-sighted but one of the most "short-sighted" views i've seen with this fanbase is the way some people just assume the team can fall back on "save us cam" for years to come.

Yeah, we are short sighted because we don't feel Cam is in any danger of just falling off the cliff. A QB that is rarely hurt is just going to fall apart.

If you are afraid of losing Cam, then go ahead and trade 2 2nd rounders. For a player who probably won't be here next year. But hey, at least this year will be epic. lol

What happens if Cam doesn't fall off the cliff? Now we are down 2 2nd rounders. Picks that may just make us good enough to compete for titles.

Yeah. It would suck to get another KK, Bradberry, Moton, DJ

Literally none of those guys other than KK should even be mentioned with Earl Thomas. Bradberry and Moton are solid starters, Thomas is the best safety of the 2010s and a first ballot hall of famer. The only reason you wouldnt trade 2 second rounders for a hall of famer in his prime is if you cant afford the salary or dont believe he would stay

the goal is to win a super bowl. keep kicking the can down the road and pretend that we're better off waiting on draft picks to maybe hit and maybe be good enough to not only start but good enough to replace the aging vets on this roster. right now we have two hall of famers in their prime on each side of the ball. one has serious concussion concerns and another plays the game in a way that will not age well. it's not a matter of *if* he will fall apart. it's a matter of if he will change his style of play or play until he breaks. it's that simple.

Cam has missed 3 games in his career. One could possibly be attributed to his style. The concussion in ATL in 2016. And that was because he let up early going in the end zone. His hard hits come in the pocket. Do Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers need to change their styles?

I have no idea what you are trying to say here.

You are now worried about losing Luke. Yet want to trade away future draft capital for a player who may not be here next year.

Cam is in his 8th year, and has only missed 2 games. But hey, let's rein him in because folks like you are worried he is going to fall off the cliff.

2 2nds for a 30 year old 1 year rental. Just does not seem like a smart football move to me.

And Thomas by himself would cost double their combined rookie salaries. This isn’t fantasy land.
