This is very important to me as a psychologist and Panthers fan. One more way that Tepper is leading the way as an owner and a leader in this league. The more I hear and see, the more I like him. It is about time we destigmatize mental health issues that as human beings affect us all to varying degrees.

Agreed, I really wish there were a national campaign to fix the stigma of seeking professional mental help. It is so bad in certain areas that teachers won't be allowed to coach a sport or run a club if they have been to a psychiatrist for mental help within up to three years in some areas.

No one should be ashamed of seeking out help and especially not 20-24 year old kids making more money in a year then most of us will never sniff and being subjected to all of the abuse that comes with their position. Forums, social media, in public, and even from friends. I can't imagine a more mentally stressful activity for an early 20's person who has yet to really be in a position to become and adult yet. Plus, most of these guys don't come from a beautiful upbringing.
