Ridley>Moore?

Mike abused him week 1.

Once again, I thought he was an overrated prospect because I don't think he'll develop into a #1 receiver. Him being pro ready is why he's a #2 now, which I never disputed.

I don't know snap numbers, but it was early third quarter. Watched every snap of defense, most multiple times from All 22. Lattimore ghosted him. What does Julio and Sanu have to do with the Ridley discussion? The Sanu TD was OPI, by the way, but I'm not complaining lol.

Ridley will be the Falcons  Top Wr next season if Julio holds out for a better contract

I compared him to Antonio Brown in the combine thread

This is silly. Can we wait till Moore actually gets significant snaps in games,  before we start comparing the two???

Yet if the tables were turned and Moore was putting up Ridley stats and Ridley wasn't producing most on this board would be saying "we got the best WR in the draft".

I call it like I see it. Ridley looks like the better WR right now. This could change later on, but so far it looks like Atlanta has the better WR.

Yes this board would be bragging so hard if the tables were turned

Ridley looks good Moore hasn't had the opportunity yet

So far Ridley has been balling Moore not so much. Did we pick the wrong guy?

Everyone knew that Ridley was the NFL ready prospect between the two and Moore was the prospect with more potential. There should be no surprise to how Ridley is playing but in the long run, Moore could be much better.

I mean Goff’s first season he was taunted as a bust and Wentz was a God,..

Wentz has already had an injury that took him out of the playoffs, his team actually climbed and won the Super Bowl without him,...

Now Jared Goff is tearing up the NFL,.. Wentz is still trying to scrape the injury dust off himself,..

body of work isn’t a few games— Ridley has more impressive receiver stats,..

but Moore is putting time is where he’s called, returns etc, and he did have a 50 yard catch and run between defenders,.. so the flashes are there.

we will see where they are in a couple seasons,.

for the record, I barely knew anything about Moore when we drafted him, and I was wanting Ridley,.. after watching tape and seeing more of what they are,.. the jury is out.

    • Bryce put it in a spot only his guy could get it only for David Moore to drop it. T_T Tremble and Horn both struggled yesterday and that killed me since they're two of my favourite players. Tommy knows he has to come down with this one. Folks were understandably saying that JT would've caught that had he not gotten hurt a few plays earlier. The more I look at this play, the more I think that Bryce made the right decision throwing it out the back of the endzone. He could have tried to laser it in to Thielen, but that safety is lurking awfully close inside. Insuring the field goal here after a 44sec drive to end the half was the right move.
    • Except Bryce was the main reason we were in it
    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
