Ridley>Moore?

Remember in Steve Smith's rookie year he had that two fumble game that killed us against Green Bay and everyone was down on him? (I was at that game by the way)

This is similar situation I think. He will heat up later in the season and be a monster a couple years from now.

We knew that Moore was a project and Ridley was ready to contribute immediately and they're both performing as expected so far.

How can Moore get better without playtime when RR keeps him on the bench most the time? Ridley was put into the game right away and Moore wasn't because RR wants his veterans to play and not his rookies so how do you figure he is a project.

I think he's going to prove how much of a monster he is as the season goes on

I'm just saying we knew going into the draft that Moore needed polish and Ridley was the pro-ready one so it should come as a surprise to no one that we're seeing that. I completely agree that Rivera & co are going about it too slowly but DJ's going through his growing pains as expected.

its too early to say who's better..

...but i don't remember many people saying Moore was a project.

I think it's been forgotten in all the excitement since drafting him but the whole debate over Moore was that his route running needed work.

He’s been playing quite a bit the last couple games. He had 4 for 59 yesterday and 1 rush for 18. I thought he looked really good yesterday with the exception of the two fumbles. I’m not really worried about him at all.

If I’m not mistaken, college scouting reports suggests that although Ridley was more NFL ready, DJ Moore had a much higher upside. Let’s give the kid some time. Yesterday was a huge learning experience for him that he will/should never forget, and hopefully never repeat.
