All you guys freaking out seeing Ridley last week

Though not near the sample size due to Ron not getting Moore the pt time

Theyre graded out close to the same

Especially for a kid who some think is a Lot moore raw than Ridley

I can't  wait to see what he can do when he gets pt and gets his feet wet and gains confidence

Everybody freaked out last year on CMC vs Kamara. Look at this year. Some things may take a little more time. He will get his chance. I think Samuel returning is more important then Moore getting forced into the line up.

In theory, Moore could be there to eventually take over for Funchess next year as the main guy with Samuel #2 and Wright #3. We didn't rush Shaq. We didn't rush CMC. Why do that to Moore?

Ridley has done way more than Moore at this point and it's night and day. Also saying Moore could take over for Funch is a huge hope based on nothing but expectations. The truth still remains this kid it seems can't run a pro level route tree so they have to use him as a decoy. People forget how terrible Hurney was at drafting WRs and we very well may have made a huge mistake.

Well PFF really needs to sort itself out if its rating a WR with 210 yards and 4 receptions on 17 targets the same as a WR with 54 yards and 1 TD on 4 targets.

Not saying they don't have the same talent level but to grade them the same at the moment is just ridiculous.

Well actually, if you have the same number of targets, at 17 then using math, we get Moore at 17 targets, 4 receptions, 230 yards, and 4 TDs. Seems pretty even to me.

3 games into his NFL career. Three.

Dosnt Ridley have 3 TD's now?

The point that players sometimes take time to work in and develop is a fair one.  By the same token, it's also fair to wonder why it seems that Panthers rookies are always the ones that fall in that category of "give them time".

For example, why is it that Ridley is lighting it up but DJ Moore is not?

We hear a lot about how the Panthers wanted DJ Moore to learn all the receiver positions . . . yet no one really asks if that's the best choice for a rookie.  Why not give him a limited package that he can learn to execute well and as he masters that, give him a little more.  This applies to more than just DJ.

It seems especially obvious on the offensive side of the ball for us.  DJ Moore, Taylor Moton, Daryl Williams, etc.  It seems like we do a very poor job of integrating offensive rookies into our system.  Now, some of that must certainly fall back on the coordinator, and I feel certain we all can agree that the situation at offensive coordinator was a mess prior to this year.

Cmac is really the only offensive rookie we've seen get extensive opportunities in his first year since Kelvin and Trai in 2014.  It therefore remains fair to ask why we don't do a better job of working our offensive rookies into the system more quickly instead of waiting for some sort of disaster to push them into the spotlight.
