Good point but im glad Torrey is vouching for it and making panthers more aware of our problems at saftey.

We definitely need SOMEONE much better than Colin Jones if we want to win any divisional games this season

Maybe Torrey should support his CURRENT teammates rather than throwing them under the bus for his former teammates.

What we really need now is for Mike Adams to talk about cutting "Stone Hands" Smith and signing Dez Bryant.

My first thought as well...Ron has never liked this type of nudge before.

If you are balling out, catching everything, had a high cap number, and were making suggestions....they may look the other way.  If you are playing like Torrey....I'm not so sure.

Ask Jason Avant how Rivera feels about talking to the media.

The thing here is that it undercuts the message Ron is giving the team about the safety situation. As such, it becomes one of those "don't talk to the press, talk to me" kind of things. And yeah, it doesn't sound particularly supportive of his current teammates either.

I'd add that Reid's health isn't as simple as question as some might think. It's been mentioned before that he'd already suffered enough concussions to consider retirement back in 2015. The concussion history coupled with his playing a hard hitting style of football makes for a scary combo (similar to Dan Morgan).

Is he a better safety than what we have? Yeah, but he has to remain healthy to stay that way.

As well as the fact that, for all his drawbacks, Ron is all about THE TEAM.

And throwing your current teammates under his good buddy Eric Reid's bus (especially considering how Ron has made it clear how he feels about the "off the field" stuff involved) is not a good "team" look.

Coming from a guy whose primary thing is supposed to be his leadership, yeah.
