    To me, going "All in", is a sign of desperation. We have tried that at various times throughout the years. Most times it hasn't worked out well for us. However, sometimes it did. Personally, I like the methodical approach. Slow and steady wins the race. It is also the Steelers way. And that is the team Tepper is most likely to immulate. 

 

    We are coming off an 11-5 season. We added Norv to help our Offense. Which, IMO, was our achilles heel last year. If Norv can get us into the 20s consistently this year, and we seem to be trending in that direction, we are going to be a tough team to beat.

 

    Sure I would love to have added a decent S this year. But saying that we are "Content with competitive mediocrity" just because it didn't happen? That seems like a little bit of an over-reaction.

 

    IMO, when it comes to this subject. Too many people are stuck in the past. What we were, is not who we are becoming. We are trending upwards. Just enjoy the ride. Focus on what the future COULD be. Not on what was in the past.

It's Thursday of the bye week. There's no better time to sign someone off the street than during a bye. We haven't signed anyone notable because we aren't going to. Southward to the PS was our safety move.
