We had WRs open last year they just were mostly bad WRs and also Shula's main issue wasn't always play design so much as it was he just called plays willy nilly with no plan or no set ups. He didn't adjust to the game that was being played....we've been had WRs open just sort hurts when its two of them open running into each other because they ran into the same area lol.

But in a vacuum play design on a chalk board isn't/wasn't Shulas 'problem'. He just called some of the dumbest poo you'll ever see called...like bombs on 3rd or 4th and 1....

It's worth pointing out though that our primary two pass catchers this year are both guys who were also with us last year (McCaffrey and Funchess).

They're also doing it without the threat of Greg Olsen. And the new guy we did acquire who's currently starting...not that great.

Yea CMC may have the best hands on the team and Funchess seems to be that type of WR who catches the hard ones and miss some easy ones. Funchess is still young too and he has so much experience already.
