It'd be nice. Searcy was done before he got here and Gaulden just switched positions this offseason. Quinten Demps (33), Mike Mitchell (31), Ron Parker (31), Steven Terrell (27), Jairus Byrd (31), Eddie Pleasant (29), Chris Prosinski (31), Darius Butler (32), Nate Allen (30), Colt Anderson (32), Robert Golden (28), Keith McGill (29), Antone Exum (27), and a few more are the only FAs available per Walter Football. So it's basically "pick your poison" along with whether or not the player fits the scheme.

Mike Mitchell worked in this defense before and played serviceably,,..

I'd kick the tires on him. I just want them to at least try to find a serviceable FA and stop grabbing other team's PS players for a change. I never liked the Searcy pick up since the first concussion. I live outside of Nashville and witnessed his degradation.

Yeh, unless his young self has completely let himself go, he played reasonably well with Luke, TD whom will be back etc, played in our system. He just wanted too much money to stay and Dave was content replacing him with others— thought he played ok with the Steelers too.

I like how we drafted a safety in the 3rd but no one has any faith he’d be any good. What a great pick Hurney

For one he’s a 3rd rounder not a 1st. Second they changed his position. 3rd you don’t want a rookie CB and safety starting together that’s just asking for trouble. Most 3rd rounders need time to develop otherwise they’d be 1st or 2nd rounders
