I took him over Bell in the middle of the first, everyone laughed at me when Bell went right after my pick....

I got into a bidding war for CMC in my league. I figured I'd get him in the high 40s at the most. Nope, he went for $56, only a little less than fuging Gurley. I lost out on him. But I was the only other one in my league defending the final price. Everyone else thought it was nuts.

When your quarterback throws 4 picks and the only reason he didn't have more is because our back-up safety is literally kept around to be a gunner, you deserve to lose. Teams move the ball well between the 20's against Carolina, and in the NFL in general, this is nothing new. However, the Panthers had 6 sacks against Dallas and now forced Dalton into 4 bad interceptions. It's hard to say that they beat themselves.

Pretty standard in men's sports to express such an opinion.  There's a macho aversion to acknowledging someone's actually better than you were, so usually preferable to act like you're shrugging it off, and can easily and quickly remedy any future outcomes by simple tweaking on your part.

But in his heart of hearts, he knows the real truth -- they got their ass kicked by the better team!

If the Bengals want to feel better, they can read about the NFL making an example out of Clay Matthews and Green Bay for calling them out. Matthews has never been known as a dirty player and the type of calls he is getting astounds me. Let's hope we don't get either of those officiating crews with all of the sacks we have been racking up
