Best I've seen our O-line play in a few years. Maybe, just maybe, we hit on a great combo purely by attrition. Pass protection, run blocking, just excellent against a decent to good defense.

I'd give one to Norv Turner while you're at it. His plays make it a lot easier to protect Newton.

You're not sitting here watching Newton wait on one of three slow developing routes to come open. That makes a huge difference.

I mean heck, even when he didn't wind up sacked, how many times did we have to watch Newton run for his life under pressure?

We haven't really seen as much of that this year as we used to. The ball is generally out of his hands before it comes to that.
