Jones is awful. But am i missing something or has gaulden played serviceable so far? I could be wrong but I haven’t seen him give up a big play in limited action yet

With things worsening between Thomas and SEA, offer a 3rd (we're getting one back for Norwell anyway).

You can pay him a decent contract for the next 3-4 years, and we'll have some cap hits coming off the books this year that pays for it (Ryan Kalil's 8 million or so comes to mind).

All you ever hear is how fast Colin is so whys he  always 3 yards behind any receiver. 

Maybe he has track speed but his game speed lacks a lot to be desired   Good STs guy that should never see the field on defense. We need a upgrade ASAP

Seahawks just won today and Thomas had a pretty big role in that game.

And plus I thought he just got a new contract with them? How or why would they trade him at this point?

Do a quick Google...the Seahawks are considering significant fines for him, it's reporting he's "changing the game" by "Holding in" instead of holding out.  He's there, but he's not really practicing, pulling himself for headaches and small things...basically just showing up to play the games and audition for his next team.  Also, no new contract. 

The Seahawks are still possibly on their way to being a dumpster fire, and need to blow it up. Earl will end up going, just a matter of to who, and for how much. 3 games into the season and counting, the price to get him out will continue to fall.

The Cowboys have already offered a 2nd and from the looks of things that might be a pretty high 2nd. The Cowboys look like trash. But, that might also make the Cowboys realize that trading a high pick for a safety pushing 30 might not be in their best interests.

Explained a little more above, but yes, the Cowboys offered a 2nd...Seattle should've taken it. At that time, Seattle had hope and Earl Thomas wasn't sitting out for headaches and Seattle is talking about fining him. Teams are now bidding on 13 games (and going down) of Earl Thomas as opposed to 16 games. If they keep their price at a 2nd, they're idiots, it's going to get worse, and they're going to only get a comp pick (potentially).

I don’t think we are in the market for Thomas. I can’t imagine us giving up a high pick for him when he’s a free agent at the end of the year anyway. 

What we need to do is sign a decent free agent like Reid, tyvon branch, Ron Parker, Iloka, 

Any of those guys would be better than Collin Jones. There isn’t much that wouldn’t be better than Collin Jones back there. It’s embarrassing
