Collin Jones made Eric Reid go from unlikely to possible

I don’t care what side someone is on with the whole anthem protest thing, there is just no way any sane, logical fan of the panthers would not welcome Reid with open arms at this point. He is 1000x better than Colin Jones. 

CJ is so bad it actually makes me feel like grabbing some pads and walking on the Panthers field for a tryout. 

I hope Tepper is at least somewhat open to the idea.

Especially with our DL (outside of Obada) underperforming. When Obada wasn't creating pressure, Dalton usually had all day in the pocket and/or had a clear path of escape to break contain and extend the play.

We are one safety away from super bowl contenders, Rivera and Hurney needs to get it done, throwing 3 yr practice squad players etc in the mix is not a fix. Especially with getting td back, this will make this team top 5 in the nfl

Reid is black balled. I think every team knows if you sign Reid with his law suit against the NFL expect a lot of unfavorable calls towards your team. Which we already get towards Cam. So probably not the best idea for the franchise, but would love the signing.

I honestly don't understand this line of thinking. If he gets signed, the lawsuit disappears. Hell, the NFL should be hoping someone signs Reid and Kaep.

Personally I would like to have him, if he were to stay within the "wants" of his teammates. But I seriously doubt that it will happen. I would prefer Thomas, but doubt that would happen either. We really need to do something regarding safety.

Just watch Jones, he was so bad, you know Reid is blackballed if he isn't signed hours after this game.  

I'd rather stick the water cooler out there and hope someone accidentally trips over it than start Jones.

Kaep is demanding nothing less than 10 million a year. He's not that good to get that. Reid is a mystery to me. I mean he actually has talent.

I haven't paid much attention to what either player is asking for, but it's my understanding both have been offered contracts since parting ways with the Niners and opted not to sign them so I really don't understand how they can claim to be getting blackballed.

If Kaep really does want $10M that's hilarious.

Not sure what Reid wants but unless it's crazy high we should throw an incentive laden contract at him that would allow him to get close to it if he balls out.
