This is just who Newton is. He's never gonna be as consistently accurate as a guy like Brees. Like Brett Favre, he's a "general vicinity" passer with streaks of amazing and moments of WTF.

Guys like Favre and Elway spent their entire career is playing that way. I figure Newton probably will too.

Now all that said, it's not like our receivers are unaware of this. They know what to expect, and they have to be reliable to catch those balls where they come.
