2019 NFL draft prospects

Watching college football, love draft prospecting.

So early insight on 2019 Draft

QB- no guy really sticks out.  I honestly don't think a QB goes top 5 this year.  Not many teams who will end up drafting up top (Arizona, Bills, etc) all have just drafted QBs or have big money invested in a franchise QB and have bigger needs.  Plus the following class seems to big the big fish class with Tua, Fromm, etc

Prospects:

Justin Herbert is The guy this year.  6'6 230+, has all the tools and is a Real good athlete.  Cant throw it 100 yards like Josh Allen, but more accurate and more athletic.  While still having a cannon to throw deep.  Is still raw and will not be a guy to come in day 1.  Has always been in the shotgun guy.

Drew Lock- if you could cross Mahomes and Josh Allen you get Lock.  Gun slinger with a Cannon, but still can be widely inaccurate.

Will Grier- mobile, solid accuracy, a little bit of a tweener compared to some at around 6'2 215 but big enough.  2nd round prospects

Next up: Finley, Stidham

RB: still a ?

Prospects:

Damien Harris- was Really on him last year,  had him right below Guice as a 2nd rounder.  Great Size and speed.  Has been a little bit of a let down this year though

David Montgomery- dont know much about him but is among most RB boards.

Rodney Anderson- kids stock was Shooting up boards after that Rose Bowl performance, then started the year hot.  Good size, speed, and vision. Unfortunately went down with a knee injury, will see how he recovers.

Bryce Love- Small, Fast, good vision.

WR: weaker class

AJ Brown-  just doesnt do it for me. overhyped much like the kid the Vikings drafted in the first from Ole Miss the other year.

Anthony Johnson- reminds me of Zay Jones. Small school, solid athlete. But more of a 2nd round prospect

Parris Campbell- playing the same position as Curtis Samuel.  Similar and same speed as Samuel.  Already showing improvement.  Couod see his stock shoot up before the draft like Samuel.

Deebo Samuels- solid do it all guy, kind of like Stefon Diggs at Maryland.  Could see his stock rise predraft.

N'Keal Harris- dont know much about other than a good athlete but at the top of many WR boards

TE: Could end up being another strong class

Noah Fant- the next good TE prospect to come out.  Reminds me a little of Hunter Henry coming out of Arkansas.  Do it all guy.

Albert Okwuegbunam- this years David Njoku.  Big long freak athlete who is a mismatch nightmare on the passing game.  Still raw as a blocker.

Caleb Wilson- a little smaller but good in the passing game

Kaden Smith- may return for his senior season, but 6'5 250. Developed into great blocker in that stanford system.  But a dam good pass catcher and athlete. Could be the best TE in the class when its all said and done.

OT: after a few weak classes, finally a decent class.

Jonah Williams- done great in the blindside at Bama.  A much better pass blocking version of Cam Robinson which was his major weakness.

Greg Little- big freak, reminds me a little of Tunsil coming out

Dalton Risner- speaking of freaks, scouts are falling in love with this kid.  He can play anywhere on the OL

Trey Adams- could have been in arguments of the top OT in last years class but came back after a knee injury.  He's once again injured.  If he can finally get healthy he could climb back up the boards.  Reminds me now of Kohlton Miller from UCLA

Interior OL: another strong class

Michael Jordan- next good Ohio State guy to come out

Beu Benzschawel- big powerful freak who has been a crucial guy in that rushing attack

LB- another SEC kid ahead of the pack in Devin White.

Devin Bush is another guy, small, but flies all around the field.  Reminds a little of Darron Lee

CB- 2 guys ahead of the pack

Greedy Williams- the next great LSU CB to come out.  Long 6'2 with Speed, also with a edge in his game.

Deandre Baker- reminds a lot of Denzel Ward who just went top 5 in their play.  Similar size but not that 4.3 like Ward but a lower 4.4 guy.

Safeties- not sure about this class but Thompson looks like the next good Bama safety to come out and ahead of the class

Story of this class is the DL: And It.......Is..........STACKED

Bosa- some scouts think he looks better than his brother is at the top

Oliver- already announced going pro has scouts drooling as his film looks like Aaron Donald

After that 4-5 interior guys who would go top 5 in most classes.

Depending on what you read, depends on which guy they have behind Oliver in the top 5

Jerry Tillery- great athlete and will make a impact right away.

Rashan Gary- Freak, will be perfect as a 3-4 DE.  How this guy could fall to 10 is crazy.

Dre'mont Jones- that other Ohio State DL not named Bosa, another Freak. And some say is the best interior rusher in this class.

Raekwon Davis- Monster, there have been some good Alabama DTs to come out recently such as Jonathan Allen, Payne, etc.  But Davis is on another level.  Again, how this guy doesnt go top 5 is shocking.

Derrick Brown- over in Auburn they have their own Monster.  And this dude has been Dominant and have scouts drooling.  Mel Kiper called this kid a rare talent.

Christian Wilkins- at the end of last season, everyone had him as the top DT in this class and was Shocked he returned.  Freak DT with athletic ability to play 3-4 DE.  But now may be the 5th-6th best in the class, and its not because his play dropped.

Dexter Lawrence- probably the best Nose Tackle to come out in a long time, and is truly a rare talent. HUGE Powerful but quick.

Zach Allen- everyone new Harold Landry, but Allen was possibly the best defensive player on BC last year.  More of a 3-4 DE, reminds of the Florida kid the Jags drafted in round 1 this year.

Jeffrey Simmons- some have him as the #2 DL.  Again freak dominate guy, has some baggage though.

Edge DEs

Clelin Ferrel- dude would be top 3 if not for these other guys,  freak athlete. Great pass rusher but great at holding up in the run game

Montez Sweat- freak athlete as a edge rusher, reminds of Marcus Davenport this year but more polished.

Austin Bryant- this years Kevin Dodd.  The other Clemson DE.  Freak athlete who hasnt produced as much as people expect

Joe Jackson- another raw athletic DE from Miami. Probably a 2nd round guy right now

A few Bold Predictions for the offseason as well

Saints parts ways with Ingram, tight in Cap space. They arebt giving him the money when they already have Kamara.  Ingram ends up in Indy.  Manning had Edge James, Luck gets a solid RB to help relieve the pressure which is something he's never had.

Tampa parts ways with Winston.  They have No cap space for next year while still having big holes elsewhere such as the OL and D.  Winston is due 20mil next year.  Keeping him will require cutting possibly 2 major key players such as DJax, Brate, or JPP.  They can retain Fitzpatrick waaaay cheaper and use the other money elsewhere.  Winston hasnt shown anything yet to even deserve a major long term deal either.  Winston ends up a Bronco or Bengal

Bell ends up a Jet.  Jets opened up all this cap space to go grab Cousins.  They didnt land him but seem to have their QB of the future in the draft.  Now they have a Solid young defense and a ton of cap to add weapons around Darnold.

Suh ends up a Brown.  They need interior defense help.  Suh has proven in the past he'll take money over a winning team.  See dolphins.  Browns have the space, gives him a bigger payday.

Julio gets traded, after seeing his hold out and seeing him frustrated with the money.  And a team with pretty low cap space with key guys needing to be resigned such as Grady Jarrett.  The Falcons decision isnt hard to trade him after Ridley breaking out.  My Prediction landing spot? Dallas.  Dallas has close to 60mil in cap space.  They need a goto weapon for Dak.  Julio fits that.  It also is a recieving threat that will pull saftiea out of the box defending the run out to help in coverage on Julio.  Dallas just swaps their 1sts (pick around 8-10) with Atl and give up a 3rd

Top of the draft Predictions.

Arizona- needs defensive help here, gets best in draft

Raiders- after making the mistake trading Mack, they have to get a edge rusher.  Bosa is the best in the draft at this.

Giants- Herbert, Gettleman doesnt want to take QB.  But ownership pushed hard to draft a QB last year over Barkley.  Manning has looked about done so there is no way they pass on the top QB of the draft

Buffalo- Jonah Williams, top OT in the draft on a terrible OL

Jets- Greedy Williams.  They desperately need edge rusher for the D, but hard to pass up a true shutdown CB who reminds me a little of Lattimore.

Lions- Clelin Ferrel

SF- Dalton Risner, guy can play all over the OL at a high lever.  From Center to LT.  After seeing Jimmy G go down.  They are going to make sure he is protected.

Houston- Greg Little

Cleveland- David Edwards, Browns grab a OT to protect Mayfield.

Atlanta via Julio trade- Dexter Lawerence.  Saw what a big NT can do to help Jarrett.  Lawerence lined beside Jarrett is a Huge help to the defense

Awesome work @ncfan Also, Greedy Williams.  Love that name for a CB.  Agree Edge is probably our biggest need but OL is not far behind.

Right now our biggest needs in order

1. Safety- Gaulden was a reach and the least athletic DB to ever come out.  I dont have high hopes for him oher than depth.  Adams is 100 years old and its starting to show.  Searcy didnt show anything and never showed anything at the previous teams that cut him.  We have high hopes on Reid but he is still unkown And not under contract next year

2. OL- Williams not under contract for next year, our Center is retiring, and while our LG is looking alright we still should/could look at OG.  We have needs across the board

3. Edge Rusher
