Still hurts that we lost Norwell, almost reminds me of when the Ravens lost Osemele and kept Yanda.

I don't think Norwell has looked too exceptional so far on the Jaguars. Or at least the reactions from their fans isn't very impressive.

Lol. Man, that is some huge spin. Not once before Amini got hurt was there any indication that he wouldn’t start. You try and use your opinion to debunk another post, get called out on it and you then use your interpretation of Ron saying (and showing with playing time) that Amini is the starter as Moton would start before all the injuries. That’s rich.

Again, Moton was never named the starter at LG at any point, nor was there ever any indication that he was going to start. He only got put in as a starter at RT due to Williams getting hurt and LT due to Kalil getting hurt. He has now earned his place at RT and LT when or if Williams is back.

You talk about spin??? You have a few themes you constantly go to over and over and Amini is one of them. There is no way to have a rational discussion about this as Amini makes you irrational and crazed.

Suffice it to say that starters named before the season mean nothing. And it is great to say if he weren't injured Amini would be starting. Riddle me this? If Amini was considered healthy enough to be activated against Atlanta then why didn't he start on the offensive line? Many of his snaps have been on special teams and he screwed that up.

Again Moton has started both games so far at different positions and will again Sunday. Sure injuries pressed him into duty at tackle but that is why he was backing up both tackle spots. But the point was no one thought Amini was starter quality and everyone thought Moton was. And I think if Kalil has played poorly, Moton would have taken his spot.

Here's some really jaw dropping numbers -

Assuming our receivers could actually catch, Cam's stats for the Atlanta game would have been:  38 / 45, 84% completed.  379 yards, 3 TD's, 1 INT, 2 sacks.

Our run game:  18 carries, 121 yards, 6.7 ypc.

Do those stats represent the efficiency of one of the worst lines in the league?  I mean, if someone offered me stats like that for our offense before the season I would have been incredibly excited.

it often gets underplayed because we tend to want to single everyone out as individuals but a large part of OL play and chemistry within an OL.   Guys knowing what the man next to him will do and working well with them matters.  Especially on the interior IMO.  Sometimes guys beside you have a lot to do with how bad or good you look.

I have always said when people bashed Newton's completion percentage that is largely is irreverent.   I still would and I'll say his good completion percentage is irreverent too.  Stats good or bad, always tell on part of a story.

I've seen Cam with a worse stat line play better than he did last week in Atl .  Not saying he played poorly but it wasn't a good game by his history of good games

Lol Moton...another decent lineman who never would have had a shot if not for injuries.

We are paying Ryan Kalil about $10m this season...He has played about half of the games over the past 2 seasons.  That is what my grandfather calls, "Bang for the buck."

one sack was a coverage sack. I don't blame it on the O-line. Honestly can't remember what happened on the other sack

They blitzed a safety, wasn't picked up, Cam was surprised by it, even was shown on the sideline afterwards looking at the video.
