Panthers have the 27th best offensive line in the NFL

At least the o line is better than the 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st, 32nd teams and William and Mary’s offensive line.

The team will be fine. If they can limit penelties and give Cam just a second or two more to scan his reads he will be able to make bigger plays happen. This team is not a down field Hail Mary team. Good route runners and decent hands,(besides Funchess who is an ex college tight end) ability to shake tackles and great quickness. 4 yards a play will win is a ball game or make us very very competitive. Just need a second or two more.

CMC will find gaps, Anderson will get comfortable, CAP or Armagh can start bowling over people. The rust should be worn off.

Doesn’t mean crap if receivers can’t even catch the ball.. Cam was rushed a lot but he got the ball to the receivers on a lot of balls that should have been caught and they were dropped!! Some yeah not catchable.. but the o/line was ok for Us against Atlanta considering the injuries.. I was more pissed at the drop balls than the o/line.. so screw the statistical crap on the websites.. it doesn’t see the whole picture

one sack was a coverage sack. I don't blame it on the O-line. Honestly can't remember what happened on the other sack

Seem to remember Clark getting beat or just messing up the assignment that lead to a sack which I give him a pass for all things consider. He played really well otherwise and had been on the team like 3 days.

He was? You mean when Amini was #1 after mini-camps and in training camp until he was hurt?

In no way do I remember Moton penciled in as anything except RT once Williams got hurt.

Personally, I don’t think there was ever a point where Moton was considered the starting LG. Williams was hurt a week before Amini. Does that mean I debunked your debunkment?

Nah you take press conferences and actually think that what they say is meant to be factual.  The only way that happens would be if the players didn't read or hear anything. The whole Amini is the starter was to hopefully give him encouragement and hope he rose to the occasion. Amini was not good in the preseason and we all knew it. You are one of the key complainers about Amini and the fact he was going to start and all was lost. Moton was always going to play, the only question was could we start him at guard if we needed him to back up both tackle spots. He may have been too valuable to play guard which wasn't an issue when Williams and Kalil both got hurt but no one thought he wasn't good enough to start at left guard or Amini was better. Rivera was doing his usual rah rah. ..
