DB depth is looking scary

And a recovered fumble. I don't get the Munnerlyn hate.

Seriously, he's a nickel corner that doesn't play every down and his job is to defend receivers. So someone please tell me why only having four tackles is used to determine if he's good or not? Technically, the less tackles means the better coverage.

With Searcy in the protocol AGAIN and Donte with a hamstring that only leaves us with 6 DBs....

1. Mike Adams S- old man slowmo

2. Colin Jones S- Fast but terrible instincts if it wasn't for his ST ability idk he's be employed.

3. Rashead Gaulden S- rookie and needs time to learn

4. James Bradberry CB- Good player

5. Corn Elder CB- still green and no idea how good he will be

6. Captain Munnerlyn CB- 2 tackles in 2 games?!? What?

That's all we have! Yet we have done NOTHING to address this. It's maddening.

We've done nothing to address our secondary this offseason? Really?

And if that's not the question, what the hell do you expect them to do between weeks 2 and 3 to address the issue?

Munnerlyn's tackles are all in pursuit, after the catch has been made.  He is a trailer.  When has he ever jumped a route, or deflected a pass?  If I had to rate his "aggression factor,"  I'd say he was passive aggressive.?

Seems like OL depth and DB depth has been an Achilles heel of this team forever.

Can understand the DBs. Not only have the Panthers attempted to fix with a lot of draft picks; the defense isn't based around them.

The Oline...have no idea what the reason for neglect is. I mean you draft a guy turn him to an all-pro and let him go and won't pay him his worth, you convert a DT to OL and play next to Bell for a nightmare. Don't even draft an LT to replace gross, plug in rejects until Oher, Oher goes out of the league and you sign and overpay M kalil.  Amini is still on the team and is actually going to play....I could go on and on.

This  offense and it's scheme needs an oline. Cam is mobile and has a cannon, which is worthless without an oline.
