This is a really cool idea in theory but unfortunately I don’t think it will last. Too many people from South Carolina are liable to hang around misbehave and act irresponsibly.

I can guarendammtee that as soon as the game is over. The only thing us fine folk from SC want to do is get out of that crappy azz state. Crappy roads, filled with the worst drivers in the whole region. A state populated with folks who are intolerant of any person who is not "Southern" the right way. A state where the gas prices are high, and the intelligence level is low. At least the younger generation gets it. As soon as they "graditate colegge" they leave the state for greener pastures.

And the #1 reason NC needs a reboot? It is home to the worst BBQ in the south. How can a whole population not know how to make a proper BBQ? And I bet you all use instant grits as well.

The best thing Tepper could do is move the stadium closer to SC. That way, when the game is over, we can get out of that crap hole of a state even quicker.

Yeah, because so many folks from other states want to move to or retire to SC lmao. Whether you're talking food, universities, or doing things outdoors, SC can't hold a candle to NC.

I will give you the Universities. Although I already addressed that. Saying that when they do graduate. The first thing they do is abandon their kith, and kin, by getting out.

Other than that, nothing in that...rebuttal?...makes anything I claimed untrue.

Believe it or not. We have electricity. We only use candles for ambience on special occasions.

I love Charleston. I try to get down there once a year, my wife does the Cooper River bridge run. Hilton Head/Bluffton etc are nice too but people who live there and visit there are not from South Carolina.

North Carolina is a superior state to South Carolina. I do love Charleston though.

I hate the argument, the petty rivalry, and the feeling of entitlement of being from one Carolina vs the other. But, you must have forgotten about Charleston Hilton Head and the likes. Plenty of people in fact move to or retire to SC

Pied because I saw you said this before I said what I said, but didn’t see until after I had already hit post. Then took my pie back because of the superiority statement lol

Not going to lie, I think that's a pretty cool idea.

Agreed, but I think there's another benefit to consider here:

Traffic.

The more people that have a reason to just hang out at the stadium for a little while afterward, the fewer people there are taking part in the unholy snarl that happens when you try to leave.

If it helps make that even a little better, then it's not just a tip of the hat to the fans. It's also a very practical benefit.

Exactly, that was my second thought as well. If a considerable amount of people hang around for 30 minutes to an hour, those that don't stay and leave immediately after won't be sitting in traffic as long and be long gone by the time those that stayed decide to head on out who then won't have much traffic to battle either.

Man, that was a great time. Love things like this to make the fan experiences more fun. Already Tepp seems to get it.

I’ll never get over not going to Jacksonville with you guys, what a massive mistake on my part.

I am on Club level

only problem I see is  people movement

not sure how getting people in who want to join and out for people who want to leave is going to work

hopefully they have a plan for people moving as trying to get out of club after the game, well it’s a little challenging as is

at least the owner is trying something new

I as well.      From the email the Panthers sent out;

To access the Club Level for the “5th Quarter,” fans seated in the 100 or 200 levels can proceed up the stairs located across from sections 104/105. Patrons seated in the 500 level, may access the “5th Quarter” using the ramp located across from section 512. Fans will need to remain in the stadium and present a valid game ticket for entry into the Club Level at the end of the game. Once fans exit the stadium, there will be no reentry.
