The pessimism in this forum is taking over.   I am sure that if his procedure was career threatening we would have heard about it by now.

Either way by this week or after the bye.   I guess there are two trains of thought.  One let him play before the bye and see if anything else needs to be done or save him till after the bye and all should be good.

Honestly, I’d be more pessimistic about his orthopedic health than his cardiovascular. 

 

Give him until week 5 before we even start to throw shade.

Barner was already cut again by the Pats. He's available if we want him.

It’s not 100% guaranteed that the procedure even worked, I had the same thing done and it didn’t do anything... 

Its a possibility that he never plays again

I tried to warn you guys we have NO IDEA how bad it is. NO IDEA. therefore it's pointless for us to speculate how long he will be out

If he's going to already be out for 3 games straight then you might as well forget about him until he actually appears at a practice again 

I tried to warn people this pre season about Byrd and Samuel's constant injury problems but a lot on here just assumed they would be healthy, and insisted we didnt need Torrey because of that apparent fact.

 And look what happened in the first 1/4 of the season already , Samuel and Byrd out again for the umpteenth time
