Was watching a show on FS1 last night, I didn't know AB went to college in NC for 1 year. It was a small tech school forgot the name. So he has history in NC.

Still a pipedream though. We had a chance to get a elite WR for cheap in a trade and we didn't even show interest. What makes you think we will trade for a expensive elite WR?

He went to NC Tech. It’s like a junior college in Fuquay-Varinia, most if not all the kids there are in the same boat. Talented but have big time academic issues and off the field baggage. I have a friend that was at NC Tech and played with AB for that one year and he told me Brown was a drug dealer. And yes, I know the difference between someone who smokes pot and someone who sells pot. He said Brown was the latter. Take it for what it’s worth, I believe what my friend told me.

If so, I would guess dimes, quarters at must. All the while being 19 years old with no money to buy your own. Free smoke. Big (no) deal.

I love this thought just as much as every other Panther fan, AB, and Cam.

If AB were to leave the Burgh, I do honestly think the Panthers would be his first choice. Having Cam, having Tepper, and having a great city for him to raise a family I think it would be a done deal. Tepper would pay him out of his pocket if need be to get him here. The locker room doesn’t seem to be selfish, these guys won’t to win and win now. Luke is a concussion away from retiring, Cam isn’t getting any younger or accurate. The team has its elder veterans that have few years left in the tank and some exciting youngins that need to learn the culture in Carolina.

AB did post a Instagram or Snapchat of him in a Panthers Helmet a while ago. I wouldn’t count it out completely but I wouldn’t hold my breath on it either cause youre going to have to breathe to read all the other posts.

I tend to agree that we would be a high choice of his but also AB is never going to get to choose where he goes until he’s like 35 at the youngest at which point we probably wouldn’t want him.

Drug dealer != friendly pot smoker

I don’t know how much or what exactly he was selling but my friend who has absolutely no reason to lie told me he was a drug dealer. He told me something else Brown said to him that was really funny and stupid but I am not going to say that on here.

He told me this years ago before Brown was the best WR in the NFL. Nobody knew who AB was even when he was at Central Michigan.

It seems the players that seem interested in playing at Carolina and with cam are all locked down w their team.

AB would be incredible for Cam. Him compared to Funchess is poo to gold.

AB loves Greg Olsen from what I get on his social media. But panthers way of life is waiting til he's 33 and sign him and expect him to play like he is now. I feel like it would take more to get AB than it would the clowned situation.

Yeah if im not mistaken during the interview on the show he was talking about how his neighborhood was nothing but drug dealers and drug users. He said he was caught up in the drug dealing. So yeah I totally believe what you just said.

    • So Blackshear did what exactly last week....?
    • Rourke on down are fine to pick up at 200 or later, imo value vs what we got in plummer. i think beck drops like a rock and someone takes a stash on that guy. im still ok with ewers, but not in rnd 1 and hes gone before we pick again. and no dont move up or down to go get him. 50s well thats a different and i would understand the appeal.
    • watched Blackshear in college, cant believe he stuck. congrats to him, but he's a ST guy at best. Tuten is a low profile guy. unfortunately i dont think i would draft him as i fear the meds. VT RBs are run down in college the last 3 decades. hes a shorter lighter guy. idk if he can 100% stick at the NFL level, but he has been nothing short of impressive, when healthy, at VT and there shitty pass game. he carried that offense for stretches the last 2 years. ollie gordon is an interesting guy that gets very little draft press this year. already a good reciever out of the backfield and great record on the ground the last 2 years. think he slides as he didnt backup the 2023 numbers on a bad team and hes a guy that needs a strong OL to realy highlight what he can do to a secondary. hes a load that looks for contact, but needs that runway to get going. start stop and hard cuts are not his thing. good/great in pass pro, and competent hands. backend of 5, sure take the flier, if you get him a runway with the line we have, he could produce on all phases. and my best for last is nick singleton. he was a monster as a true freshman at PSU. good not great overall production the last 2 years, but that RB room is stacked and both guys split carries. really developed as a blocker and pass catcher this year. take gordon and add the start stop and agility, but with lot less carries overall. personally he's up in the top 5 for me this class. if he drops to the 5th, sprint the card up. i think if we didnt heavily invest in the position, rnd 4 would be fine if he fell there too. i could see him taken early based on a big time combine, freshman year production, and great rate production every year. hes a little more boom, bust and still figuring stuff out, but PSU has such a crazy amount of talent in the RB room, he hasnt had the game reps of others to fully figure it out.
