Steelers take a 28 mil dead money cap hit if they trade Brown, just ain't happening.

The only reason I read through this was to see if anyone had the common sense to at least look at this number before considering this ridiculous scenario. And it had to be a fan of an opposing team, because no Panther fan is going to use logic or reason.

We need to look into the possibility just to keep him out of NO, TB or ATL. That would be a nightmare. Having Cam as bait really helps. Wanna be a big boy? Make big boy moves. Patriots already beat everybody to Gordon.

Patriots are the only team that jumped on Gordon right away while other teams that were supposedly interested waited to long to go after him so they made the move.

While I love AB, i don't think it would be a great fit here.  He and Ben have ongoing issues, with most of it stemming from AB feeling like he is open every play...  and that worries me about developing our promising young guys like Moore and Samuel.  Maybe Cam and AB's friendship would supercede any issues they might have on-field, because they already have a relationship prior.  That being said, it's all pointless to discuss...  the Steelers aren't gonna move him, and even if they did, we wouldn't be in the running.

Same but I could almost deal with giving up a first for AB. He'd be worth it

He’s 30. I don’t think that’s worth it. He will certainly start to decline in the next couple years. He’s a quickness and finesse guy, they usually decline earlier.

You can say whatever you want about Steve Smith, but Antonio Brown cares about AB first and then his team. Steve was the opposite, he wasn't with the bullshit when it came to winning and competing when it came to the team. The main difference honestly is the time, Steve didn't come up in the social media era, AB is in it. AB don't give a damn, just give him the ball every single play and get out the way. I'm just throwing this out there.

The panthers only have the next couple of years as a window to win a championship. Our guys arent spring chickens either.

Pep, TD, Kalil and potentially Olsen are pretty much in their last year. You need 1st round picks to replace them. We really aren’t that old and we have replacements lined up for TD, Kalil and Olsen already with Shaq, Larsen and hopefully Thomas. The safeties are old but are also easily replaceable. We don’t really have a hard shutting window.
