We're two games into that trade. A bit early to be throwing a parade declaring total victory in that one.

I'm a UNC fan, but if Trubisky doesn't start playing better they're going to miss those two 1st round picks.

Yeah, he's unhappy in Pittsburgh. Still a stretch to think he gets traded here though.

That's out of context, he didn't ask to be traded, someone said he only has the #s he does because of big Ben, he said trade him and see if that's true.... Was in no way actually wanting to he traded, just stating he's betting his production is the same anywhere he goes.

Same here, I work with Bears fans and talked up Mitch a lot. I don’t think they are happy with me so far.

All that said though, he was still arguing with a  coach on the sidelines last game and he didn't show up for work today.

Brown has a really tempestuous relationship with the Steelers. I don't think that necessarily leads to him getting traded, but it can be draining.

I would agree with you, but there's also the fact the Pittsburgh Gazette is reporting he failed to show up on Monday, and the Steelers won't say why.

A. They're not going to lose AB, Bell and BB over the next 12 months. That'd be suicide

B. We couldn't afford AB even if he was interested in coming here. $17mm a yr avg. We'd have to cut Luke and KK to make that happen, or some other dramatic combo of talent

C. What can AB provide that CMC/Samuel didn't do already this past wknd? I know he's the best in the game but we need OL, DE and secondary help to make this a better team

D. How often do teams that have elite WR contracts, win Superbowls?

If Brown is traded this season - it will be for  1 st or early 2nd and swap of a late round pick. Also his cap hit.... its only 8 million for 2018.

The Steelers certainly seem to be imploding from the outside looking in. Their star RB is holding out, their star WR is pissed off, their OL is trashing aforementioned star RB for holding out, their QB is aging and likely already over the hill, their D just gave up video game numbers to the Chiefs... it ain't looking good.

The tweet was directed at a former PR guy who said that Big Ben was the only reason for Brown's success.

Kind of a stretch there my friend. They traded 2 first rounds for that pick. No matter if Julio was there or not that pick would have costed any team 2 first rounders. 

But let's go with that, just for the sake of argument. Antonio Brown is a 30 year old receiver with diminishing targets. He currently has a calf injury (soft tissue) and did not show up to team meeting, and blasted out a tweet in reply to a former employee challenging his current employer to trade him. 

Any smart GM trading for Brown knows that they would have the leverage once the steelers started to consider trading him. 

Brown is a great receiver but as history has shown he only has a couple good years left. No one will be dumb enough to trade 2 first round picks for this guy. IF they are, Colbert is a fuging genius.
