Exactly! Can't blame Cam for hitting the guy that keeps getting open and catches everything as opposed to guys that can't

Unbelievable to me that we have a player that catches 14 of 15 balls thrown his way, yet people here find something to complain about.  CMC should be getting nothing but our praise.  Criticize the bums with the stone hands; we all know who they are.

While I grant that downfield is a big deal in the Coryell, I don't really care how we win as long as we win.

Last game we didn't, but I can't really put that on the offense.

I put it mostly on the defense but the offense doesn't go completely blameless.

I don't really care about air coryell, and I think sometimes that to much is made of that.  The forty niners invented the West Coast offense, but still threw plenty of deeper (15 yards or more) passes to their receivers.  Our offense didn't get going until the game was nearly out of hand.  CMC having nearly 40% of our receptions is not a winning option for the future.  If we can't throw it downfield, we won't win many games, unless our defenses morphs into the east coast version of the 2012 Seahawks over the next few games.

We rushed for 105 yards last game. You did know that right?

its keeping other teams from rushing 100 yards— the defense MR Fairy dust gave up 170 yards rushing,... the Panthers win when the other team has less than 100 yards rushing which you left out or are ignoring to argue just for the sake of arguing?

If Panthers stuck with the power run game and controlled the tempo of the game then Carolina's defense wouldn't have been worn out and allowed100 yds + rushing. It's a domino effect when the team goes away from running game.

So when you say 5yds receiving is same as 5yds running it's doesn't have the same effect on the opposing defenses or the W/L column.

It’s the stereotype that black qb and white rb can’t possibly be good lol

Right!! How do you watch Sunday's game and come away with the idea cmc was or is somehow the issue. He doesn't make funchess and smith and Anderson and Thomas all drop passes that hit them in the hands and chest that they couldnt haul in. Norv and cam are feeding the one guy they trust out there right now...how could you blame them, wrights having no problem being productive...everyone saw cam look for dj for that final try at the end zone cause he caught the f'ng ball on the td pass..it's funny how trust works like that. I really don't get the argument

Norv should have ran the ball with CJ more instead of constantly calling plays to throw to shaky hands receivers.

P.S. how many deep shots did he call vs the NFL standard I would say he is way under.

Mr Madison, at no time in your idiotic incoherent response have you said anything resembling rational thought.

everyone reading it is now dumber.

i award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Just remember 9/10 teams went to the playoff with top running game  .... keep moving on Mr. Fluff & bring some real data to the argument next time.

P.S. 5 yards passing doesn't have the same affect as 5 yards running on defense. :)

He's calling plays that get the ball out quickly because newsflash our oline was playing with brand new players, lineup changes.

PS...just because cmac was catches doesn't mean we didn't have players running downfield routes...it just means they weren't open and he was or Cam doesn't quite trust someone after they drop the ball on him a few times.

PSS...it's hard to keep running the ball when the other team is scoring at will on you.

...oh yeah and your boy caused the only turnover we had on offense..that pretty much killed our come back chances. And had another big drop. I like Anderson but acting like he was just gonna do so much better than mcaffery's 5 yards/carry because you have a bias isn't looking at it without blinders on

I would like to see more Anderson.  2 back instead of a slot WR--motion out CMC--leaves D a bit mismatched.

Oh yeah I agree..I'm all about them getting creative with it and they have personnel..then with Moore and Samuel you have a ton of options to move around,bunch...keep the D guessing
