Yeah, I can see a few snaps to a backup, at least one for sure, but to take a penalty that close to scoring is dumb. I'm pretty sure cam was supposed to sit out 1 play because he got examined, that's why Dan Quinn was going app poo at the ref before the next play

I don’t remember which qb is the backup but you get to the gist,  I’d agree if we didn’t score it or we lost yardage but his penalty really didn’t cost us anything

I agree, it cost us nothing because we scored, but if we hadn't, it would have been bad. Taking any dumb mental error penalty that close to scoring is the worst kind. Yea, it was a cheap shot by the DB, but Cam also sold it more than it was IMO, just glad he's ok and none of our guys got ejected for it.

That was a contrast of 2 defenses. Their defense was taking cheap-shots at one of the toughest running QB in history. Our D did everything but roll out the red carpet for a QB that will probably never attempt a run like that again in his career. our D was soft

I want to talk about the face that something that can offset something else.    Nothing should offset that, in fact, that should be made a 30 yard penalty if that is what it takes to stop that nonsense.
