I hope he gets picked up and released 31 times so we can have 31 topics about this. 

If there was any receiver we should have gotten with questionable character it'd be the one that just went to the Patriots for a conditional 5th round pick.

corey coleman is clearly a head case.. the dude has a trillion sneakers all up in his house.. did yall not see that?? shouldn't you make it first as a NFL player before u start splurging ur rookie $$$ on that stuff..

I can't find it for the life of me, but back when Voth ran Black & Blue Review, I remember he had mentioned that the Panthers FO at the time was enamored by Coleman and would absolutely scoop him up if he fell to 30, but weren't expecting it. Thankfully DG was saved from himself it looks like...although not like we did any better by grabbing Butler in that draft :/

Playing a little devil's advocate here, the one thing I could at least say for Byrd is that he's managed to stick on a roster for a little while. Coleman keeps getting dumped, and after some fairly short tenures.

Sometimes you pick up that guy that other teams keeps dropping because you think maybe he'll be good, then you wind up finding out why the other teams gave up.

I don't really know enough about Coleman to have an opinion. I'm just musing...

When fomer top 15 pick gets bounced from three teams in as many years, ill take a hard pass on that. Especially when two of those teams are among the worst in the league (Browns and Bills) and the other has an offense that seems tailor made for a WR like him (Pats).

It won't shock me a bit if this is the end of his career.

I wanted him in the draft and honestly, i wouldn't take him over Byrd at this point.  If Samuel is projected to be out a while, then maybe, but otherwise I'm not all that interested.

I thought I remembered seeing that as well which is why I felt like maybe this was a possibility.

Maybe Coleman will wind up with the Giants now?

We’d really just need him for his ability to run the go route something that is really lacking for our outside guys right now. 

Torrey hasn’t shown the speed to run it anymore and Funchess can’t track a ball over his shoulder. Funchess can run a deep post but we’d be much better off with Coleman on a simple go

Bounced by three teams in 1 month!!  Browns ...... Bills ...... Pats. 

I'd like to take a flyer on him because I want to believe that he is more of that Baylor WR than the injured, underachieving WR that has been cut by WR-needy teams.... but reality is that he is who we think he is. Pass.

Agreed that if WR was a concern, Gordon would have been the move already.
