I am not as down on butler as everyone else.   

That said I still think no way in hell we should give him a 5th year option. 

I believe he is an ok backup and worthy of being in the league but was way over drafted and definitely a luxury pick.

 At his current level of play, he would be lucky to even make the team next year. Barring massive improvements during this season(lol..right) he has zero chance at that option.

I'd trade Butler and next year's 1st for either Thomas or Deion Jones without hesitation, but the Saints and Falcons would laugh in our faces.

i liked him when he was here overall, but looking back it's astonishing how bad Gettleman was at drafting, honestly. he let our o-line sit in absolute shambles his entire stay here.
