@CPcavedweller said he did not see Jackson get burnt, per se. You came back with "Jackson was man up on Ridley and Ridley beat him inside to catch a slant for a TD = burnt." It was the tone you used to claim that yes, Jackson did get burnt. On a play that is one of the toughest to defend for a CB. Who also happens to be a rookies, playing in his second game. So yes, I took offense to how blunt, and eager, you were to make sure you did in fact see Jackson get burnt.

    Hence my reply.

I dont fault Jackson for that play. Not many corners can cut off that slant man to man without getting a good jam on the line and disrupting the play.

Jackson still may end up being the best corner we have by Week 17. Never thought we would complain about a corner being burned only once when playing the Falcons.

I could care less about your offense taken to my reply to someone else. His statement eluded to him not calling what happen as being burnt. You took offense to my reply to someone else, so you direct message someone that wasn't in conversation with you with a sarcastic comment, grow up!

Soooo...let me see if I have this right. You can respond to some random guy about his post. But I can't reply to some random post on a message board? Is that the gist of it?

Real question (not being smart)

whats the difference you see in his start and Bradberrys start as a rookie? Everyone was super high in James his rookie season over looking some bad games by saying “he’s a rookie and will get better”.

Then he had a off year last year, and has started out good this year. Do you see Jackson doing the same?

I have no idea what some of y'all were watching. Jackson got burned several times today. Ridley took him to school.

Agree.  He had several good plays today but also quite a few mistakes.  That said, I like the trajectory.

Very fast rookie with a short memory, strong work ethic and attitude. I will take it.

For real, Norman took several seasons to get his act together.  Jackson is really coming on strong, has all the right instincts, fire, and ability.

The fire is the thing.  Experience will correct any (at this early point, expected) mechanical or communication problems or mistakes.

But you can't teach fire in the belly, or speed, or size.  He's got the first two, and to my mind, a really good CB has to have the fire, coupled with a short memory, and an aggressive desire to dominate the opponent.  Passivity, as exemplified by the play of Munnerlyn, for example, gets you nowhere.

Give him time.  Maybe next year, maybe later this, he'll be doing great things.  That was a lucky pick; soon he'll be earning them on his own.

This place intolerable when it comes to evaluating corners. Nothing but complaints everytime someone allows a catch. Corners give up catches, its gonna happen and a lot of times its not due simply to the fact they cant cover.....playcalling has a lot to do with it too.  Everybody cant shut down their man but you can still be good in the league. What the fug do yall want?

Dragging a rookie in his second game. Smdh

I honestly thought Jackson played a good game. On the play where he got juked, he chased the ball carrier down and even stripped the ball. Yes he’s young and raw, but kid has speed and talent. I think him and Bradberry are pretty solid. I think our Achilles heel is the slot corner and safeties. All three need to be replaced.
