Moore’s strengths are so much more better suited for the slot. You’re wasting him by sticking him on the outside. I get that we have Wright but that’s a Norv problem. DJ is most dangerous from the slot.

I highly doubt anyone would give up much for a FA to be in Funchess. We’re probably just better off hanging onto him.

They need to do something though because we’ve seen this song and dance before and it doesn’t end well

Moore could play any receiver position better than anyone else on our roster. If anyone is purely a slot guy its Samuel, quick in small spaces but lack long distance speed. Moore has all the athleticism needed to play outside.

I'd actually argue that Moore is better after the catch and at making guys miss than Smith was.

If you want people to take your argument seriously, perhaps provide a reason why you believe him to just be a slot receiver. If that were the case, he wouldn't have been a first round draft pick...

Needs to learn how to beat press coverage first. This team should want to get the ball in Moore’s hands as much as possible and the easiest place to do that from is the slot

That doesn't make him purely a slot receiver. He would be dangerous all over the field. At some point he needs to take over for both Wright and Smith and we need to get Samuel and Moore both moved around the offense. I'd like to see Byrd get a shot once he comes back as well.

But Moore will be good wherever you put him. I feel your belief that he would be better in the slot is related to his height and your line up in Madden.

I have my doubts about Moore on the outside so we’ll see. 

Ideally you find a proper outside WR and stick Moore to where he would be most effective and dangerous imo and that’s the slot. But that most likely doesn’t happen until the offseason unless management shocks the world and signs Dez or trades for Josh. 

But yeah as for this season, as long as we have Wright who is purely a slot I guess you have to stick Moore in different places which is a shame because as you saw with his TD reception, it looked like someone shot him out of a cannon once he caught that ball.

We have a number one, his name is D.J. MOORE!!! They just won’t put him on the field. I don’t care if he is having problems with playbook. Find him some plays and get him the ball. He needs to be on the field. We are better when he is.

They should not come off the field unless absolutely necessary. Put CMC at WR if you wanna run C.J. These are our top ballers right now from what I see.
