Where was C.J. today

I think we have BEEEEEn horrible at switching in players... we did it today wayyyy too late. It was like CMC was in sometimes when CJ should of been and vice versa.

We really need to use him more early on.

Still haven't seen any formation with both of them back there. Full House or even CMC outside with CJ in the back.

We would let CJ run a hard 12 yards and then wouldn't see him for 30 minutes then randomly on a 3rd and long? It was just weird and very mismanaged. He was pissed on the sideline early in the game and short yardage.

Especially when we were in the red zone on like the 6 and ran CMC right up the middle. I can see doing that every now and then when they don't see a run coming but they knew that was coming... CJ is the back for that part.

I 100% agree CJ needs to be in early  in  the  the  game to pound the rock loosen things up  for cmc.....

After those two absolutely horrendous dropped passes, I'm not sure I want to see much more of CJ.

Easy to do when  he his barely in the game e even after good runs like the beginning  of the game but lets just focus on the bad stuff.

It has gotten to the point around here that more, and more, folks are glossing over the positives, and accentuating the negatives. Ah hellz, fans. You gotta love em'.

He had absolutely single handedly killed a crucial late drive. Alligator armed a well thrown ball then about two plays later had a well thrown ball bounce off his chest for an INT. He was wide open for both. No clue why CMC wasn't in the game.

We’re using CMC on power runs that should go to CJ ... and trying to give those underneath passes to CJ instead of CMC ... that INT was tough (it happens) but wrong personnel.

CMC’ carries between the tackles should be limited to none. We’re asking for trouble  I.e fumbles or him getting hurt

Panthers did this with Williams and Stewart.

Tried to run Williams up the middle and Stewart to the outside in 2011-2013 constantly.

Why are there no toss sweeps for cmc like telvin coleman? All we see is option run up the middle for him and check downs. Every once in a while he will run a wheel route.

They need to get cmc in space, not just on check downs, but on designed plays.

Now I do understand Cj might be a blocker on certain pass plays but for the most part dude should be bowling down middle like he is built for. I have a feeling that he's the type of rhythm runner that gets better as the game goes on also.(provided that he is getting carries, which the staff look like they cant manage currently)

Don't understand why they are not on the field more at the same times  also. Cj could have blocked while cmc ran to catch the ball on that play, then the game looks real different. After that int, the game was over realistically.

He messed up on that INT but we are NOT using him right in the running game.    You have a player that averaged 10.3 ypc and you aren't playing him.   5ypc the week before.     You feed someone like that till he's stopped.     You let him wear down the defense FOR CMC at late game to bust a big run.     It's just baffling.

Give it time. CJ's big run was in part because CMC was a diversion. They don't have all the pieces (Samuel, Byrd and Olsen) to run the offense they planned for. We win the next 2 and we'll be 3-1 for the 1Q of the season. Get a couple of guys back, give the O-line time to gel and who knows.
