This Loss is on Ron

Can't stop the run.  

That what killed us against the Saints regular season last year.  Killed us against the Falcons today.

The D just didnt look motivated.  They looked totally defeated going into half.  And came out of the gates in the 2nd half as if they just sat in the locker room and moped on their first half performance.  As if Ron didnt say much to light a fire in them as if he just sat back and prayed theyed work up some motivation or something on their on.

 

Maybe he did and they just ignored him and tuned him out.

 

But from every camera angle on the sideline of his body language.  He just had this team going through the motions and hope for the best

Insert any other name and its _____ fault, because he decides.  These same issues always come up no matter who is in there at OC.  So the common denominator in all this is Ron, the guy who oversees all of this.

There is no coincidence that every OC that steps in, has Identical to a T issue here under Ron and has Zip nothing to do with him just the guy under him

 

You cannot convince me a league know/respected offensive guru is going to bench his guy from his system who was the only person doing anything.  And a rookie he begged for only to put in a guy who has been with Ron a long time or a "vet" that Ron, no matter who has been in at OC, Loves and always puts in

Correct he was working with them on their route running

Still, if his boss wants or thinks another guy should be in he's in.

We've seen questionable personnel issues like this under Ron......prior to Norv

Old OC leaves new guy comes in, same issues.

Whats the common denominator here?

Coaching isn't easy at all, but Rons weakness is evaluation and using his playes strengths. Every player has something they are good at. Ron doesn't use players the right way. 

Another issue is his love for vets. You never know what you have if you don't play the young players. 

Clook management is another problem 

Utilizing timeouts is another problem. If your defense is getting gassed, call a timeout just to get them on the right track and get them some wind.

Game planning is a real big issue also for the offense. Everyone know CmC going to get his chances, which he should, but he don't need to be the focal point every game. Getting people involved that normally wouldnt be, would confuse the opponent and create opportunities for others.

DG never gave him the proper personnel trotting out KB , Devin’s Funchess, Remmers ,  Bell, Chandler etc

Once again this was Norvs fault for not adjusting his game plan. This is growing pains team will have to go through with new OC.

 

P.S. Why did Norv call a passing play to Funchess on 3rd and short instead of a run play ? Easy conversion right there with RBs getting 4yds + carry.

Maybe hiring a guy solely because he’s been in the system for years isn’t the best idea? Also, I thought Ron was a defensive guru.  You’ve proven your ineptitude just the same as Rivera. Be gone.

Rons inability to adapt or turn a weakness into a strength is what drives me mad. The patch work secondary, burying talent on the depth chart, methodical approach to football in today’s game is irritating.
