How little faith do the coordinators have in our defense without Davis and the offense without Turner and Williams?

The Falcons are down four pro bowl defenders and continue to be aggressive. We go down some guys and the coaches handicap us more than the guys missing do.

Playing nickel while the Falcons are running stretch after stretch. Playing base 4-3 and seeing Mayo try to cover anyone makes me chuckle.

What I saw today takes me back to the 2011 Panthers starting Terrell McClain and Fua.

Also, Sanu will be fined for the crackback block on Luke which came on a pivotal play of the game. The refs need to be reprimanded for not calling holding once on Atlanta given the number of Stretch runs the Falcons had.

We have always played soft coverage on the back end under Rivera and it's obvious at this point that we always will. We don't invest any resources into the secondary because we don't ask anything of them. We put all the pressure on the front seven and we spend all of our money there. The problem is that the Saints and Falcons built offenses specifically to exploit this. They focus on getting to the edges in the run game and getting the ball out quickly in the passing game to negate our pass rush and take advantage of DBs playing 10 yards off. Give them credit. We do what we've always done and they've adapted.
