NFL wanted a Falcon victory so they made that happen.

Sadly, I have come to believe this and for the team they don’t want to win, well they best play flawlessly

A phantom PI call, more holding than imaginable, after awhile the Falcons didn’t try to hide it, and that Sanu block on Luke not getting called

I doubt that. Cam is a bigger draw for the NFL than Atlanta.

Not when Tepper is out bad mouthing the President and is the most outspoken owner this far on the kneeling issue.  Stuff like that is what the NFL likes to sweep under the rug.

I mentioned it last year, but tbh, he hasn't looked the same since the concussion where he was crying as he left the field.  Go back and look at the New Orleans games last year.  Luke took horrible angles, missed tackles, and was completely out of position.  It happened throughout the year, but the New Orleans games were the worst.  He just isn't the same player he was.  He is still great, and has flashes of that same incredible play, but those concussions took something out of him.

I don't think the concussions have affected Luke's ability to play. But, I do believe at times they have affected "THE WAY" he plays at times.

He's had 3 major concussions so it's understandable if that has made him just a bit hesitant at times when he's about to make contact on a ball carrier or o-lineman. One more serious concussion could possibly end his career.

Also, someone pointed out earlier that he's coming off an injury in the season opener.

But even at 75-80% Luke is still a top 10 MLB in this league.

The Panthers losing isn't exactly sweeping something under the rug. The refs missed some holding calls, sure, but they didn't force all the drops that we had.
