Cam newtons rushing stats and TDs almost  guarantees him a hall of fame spot..when he is all said and done his stats are going to be unreal.

Cam is the type of player you need to see play in order to know he's hall of fame bound, I'm not sure just looking at numbers will do it, even including his rushing feats. I personally think he needs one more MVP like season (doesnt have to win it but needs to be in the debate) or he needs a ring.

LOL. I had some fun with folks in that forum. Never said Cam was a lock or anything, just waited for the weak arguments to surface and debunked them.

Cam is already the greatest Red Zone runner in NFL history.  Add to that a MVP to go along with some great passing stats, and he should already be in the discussion.  He will be a 1st ballot inductee unless there is some BS

I can't say Cam is a hall of famer, at least not right now. Super Bowl 50 will (wrongly) haunt his legacy, and there have been so many great QBs in this generation. On top of this, a lot of people don't like to consider context behind his numbers, and will just assume he is inaccurate upon glancing at his passing stats. He's a hall of very good candidate as of right now, but I do think if we win a Super Bowl he could potentially be enshrined. The only hall of famers on this team at this exact instant are Peppers and Luke.
