Greg Olsen hopeful to return in 4-5 weeks

Looks like rehab is going well. This aligns with weeks 6-8 as I predicted in another thread. 

 

Hopefully Ian Thomas can build some rapport with Cam. This may very well be Greg’s last season.

Olsen just signed an extension, so I still can't imagine him retiring after this year unless a SB is involved.  Though it does strike me a little as he knows his career is ending, let's "rush" back and try to make this a magical season.

The question will be if Greg comes back this season, can he stay healthy longer than a week or 2...

Hopefully Ian balls out while Greg is hurt and can run more 2 TE sets once he returns, as this will help our blocking and create a ton of mismatches

I certainly hope it isn’t his last. I think he has some left in the tank if his foot can heal well. Ian Thomas balling out and relieving him might keep him fresh for an additional season or so.
