Brett Kollman on the Panthers vs Cowboys Game

Good points.  Scary to think how vulnerable our secondary is selling out for the run with the single high (slow) safety.  Like he said a decent QB recognizes that and kills the play called.  If the CBs are 12 yards off the line of scrimmage, that could be disastrous.

Honestly Sunday is the test of how Washington runs the D when the team we face can throw it.

I think that’s just Washington just taking his gamble and expecting the Cowboys to be run-centric and uncreative.

His gamble paid off dividends.

Panthers knew they weren't playing a decent QB and the WRs were no real threat. The only real threat was Zeke and the momentum he could give him were he not contained, so they geared what they did toward containing that threat.

Be interesting to see how that changes when we play a team with a run game to respect but also an intelligent QB who can read a mismatch.
