Why spend money on a subscription for a site run by outsiders when you just pay people on your own staff to do it in-house?

Honestly, I'm not the world's biggest PFF fan anyway, but I'd really hate to think a team of professional football people were looking to a website for info.

Why pay in house people to do stats when there are numerous sources that have been doing it for years? There is nothing new about teams using third party stats and analytic providers. It would be pretty cumbersome to start this from scratch. They would analyze it in house but not collect it 

STATS XInfo is a product universally used by pro sports teams

Oh, sure.

Hey you know, while we're at it, why do we need to pay a bunch of guys a lot of money to scout players? There's all kinds of scouting information on the internet. Why don't we just use that?

There's no reason to do all this stuff ourselves. I can't believe nobody ever thought of this before.
