Taylor Moton only allowed 1 pressure on Cam Newton in first career start

Has Matt played RT? Is he stronger than Williams? Like as I understand it LTs can play RT just not necessarily in reverse. Matt gets brushed aside so often on the left side that I can't read his actual strength level.

I don't think Matt has played or can play RT.

Also, for those saying we ignored OL, in the span of 5 drafts/UDFAs we could have put together an OL of Moton, Norwell, Larsen, Turner and Williams.

My concern was we ignored the OL this year...no drafts...no trades... no FA's.   Williams injury is really hurting now.   Matt's injury didn't hurt so much.

He and Darryl would've made a combo for the foreseeable future that would've made Panthers fans happy.

I have been looking forward to next season already, regardless of the results of this one, because I felt like we would finally have those two as our bookends.

The fact that Moton is going to get starting time now has me so friggin pumped. I'm excited to see how he develops this season and am absolutely giddy over the return of Williams. Van Roten has been solid and Turner is a Pro Bowler. Find ourselves a new center (Larsen?) and Cam has an OL for the rest of his career.

Not sure Williams is back. He's going to want to get paid, and after an injury, you know how that goes.

Amazing that Moton never got a chance last year either. If Matt, Daryl and Amini were never hurt, Moton would be the jumbo tackle this year.

We were never going to keep Norwell and Trai together past their rookie deals. Teams don’t pay two guards top 5 money.
