Two types of quarterbacks that are just about always overrated: Quarterbacks that play in a West Coast system (especially if they play for Andy Reid) and quarterbacks that play for the Cowboys.

The Cowboys have had a parade of dreck under center since Aikman retired.

Romo is a future hall of famer and deserves it, one of the best QBs of his generation.

Tony Romo is a national treasure, the cowboy fanbase didn't deserve him, he was supremely underrated during his playing days, and he was a better QB than Aikman

Don't @ me.

Somebody get in touch with Igo. I think the board may have been hacked by Cowboy fans :fear:

Romo's biggest fault was he played at the height of Jone's meddling and Romo was the only reason that the cowboys weren't a laughing stock during his tenure as a starter.

But Cowboys fans are idiots and don't realize how good he actually was. Dude was a baller and all around nice guy, which is why they didn't deserve him as their QB.

Huh?  Tony Romo was definitely a great QB (along with, by all accounts, a really good dude).

If the above posts stopped at "good" we could have a discussion. "Hall of Famer" and "better than Aikman" make me hope these guys being sarcastic.

Great quarterbacks don't choke in the playoffs.

Interesting that neither the Panthers nor anyone playing for them made this list. The sports media usually never misses an opportunity to chit on us somehow.

We've gone seriously into the Meta here. We're feeling dissed because we weren't dissed.

Now that is truly what being a Panther fan is!

How can the Saint's defense be overrated??? Last year was an anomaly. They have an awful defense.

You mean Ryan Fitzpatrick isn't the best QB in football?

Totally agree, Saints/Bucs game wasn't a surprise.  That was the Saints back from a one year blip.  A shitastic D that Brees tries to overcome.

Come on dude. You know you can't appeal to stats when you're crossing eras.

If guys like Aikman and Staubach would have had the benefit of today's offense friendly "can't touch the quarterback" rules, the stats they would have racked up would have been ungodly.

I'll give you that Romo might be the best analyst that's come down the pike in a long time. And yeah, he comes across as a nice guy.
