Deion Sanders says Turner’s offense not a good fit for Cam

Did Cam age 10 years overnight or something?

This sudden angst about his deep ball accuracy is getting out of hand. Even if you can say you have some concerns, it's week 2 with a new OC.

He looked off at times last week.

Now with that said, a lot of starting quarterbacks look a little off on opening weekend because they barely play in the preseason and they're still knocking the rust off.

So it's the millionth time Deion states an opinion when it's obvious he doesn't watch any of the games besides the sports center highlights... Cam just did exactly what he was asked to do... take the high completion passes when the defense is giving them to you and protect the ball and he did both with a train wreck of a line(suck it Amini) and Olsen going down. Without the cmac fumble and those  couple of oline  penalties that killed big gainers we'd have put up 27+ points. It remains to be seen what happens when we have to open up the offense

Is it possible that Cam Newton struggles this year? Sure it is. I've seen some folks question if his deep ball is still the same since his shoulder surgery. And of course you've got the offensive line issues...

But if he does struggle, I seriously doubt it's going to be related to the system or to Norv.

I'm going to level with you, it's not. He can't put touch on it, he just heaves it up. I saw it last year and even so far this year, poo's not close to the receivers.

Newton's can be a little streaky, same as most gunslingers.

He got it together and wound up with a decent game overall, though.

Yep.  Newton actually has two variations of streaky play.   There is a version that usually shows within every game....and also a version that shows itself week to week.

It normally is evident when Cam Newton is just going to have one of those weeks.   Where he can't be stopped....or can't do much right.  There there will be ups and downs within whatever week it is.

I don't even consider that a diss.  Some players are just like that.  Rollercoasters.  The highs are great.

and I have always thought Cam never got enough comparison to Favre.
