Gaulden isn't ready and honestly it's why I don't like picks like him. Moving a CB to a position that requires intelligence and physical ability isn't my idea of projects. Finding people who have already proven they can play the position seems easier.

I'm fine with converting college CBs to safety. It's been done many times. 

Either way, that wasn't our intention anyway. Ron let that slip this week. They see Gauldin as a "big nickel". Should've known we wouldn't spend a 3rd round pick on a safety.

I'm actually more satisfied they are not converting him. Just wish they would pick a vet up though.

I actually really like gauldens intangibles. His college coach was a dumbass and you could make the argument he’s better suited to play S. I agree he’s a project pick, but not sure why you’re insulting his intelligence and athleticism

Where did I insult anything? I just merely pointed out it takes both. Either way Rivera is going to use him as a CB so this whole thing is moot.

Difference again one is a rookie learning and making rookie mistakes.. Which is expected.. The other has been here 5 years and proven time and time again he is still making the same mistakes in coverage and over running plays..

I'd rather go with the guy who can get better with experiences...
