Not saying you do but Colin has experience over Gaulden and would be counted on to make far less mistakes. If safety was a priority for this team we wouldn't have sat on our hands while a plethora of options were out there in the offseason. Now OL is a much more prioritized position than safety with the Williams injury and Amini out there trying to get our QB killed. Jones has had some decent moments. He's not a starter but he is serviceable depth which is what you want. If they wanted a superstar we would have gone after Earl Thomas.

Cool your opinion..

Like I said my opinion is I'd rather deal with the ups and downs of a rookie making rookie mistakes .. Than watch a vet I know can't do the job fail like he has for 5 years..

Sure let's start a rookie with less than 10 weeks experience at their NEW position. Good idea.

Also, dude.... their names are spelled "Gaulden" and "Searcy"

Yeah it's better to play the vet who has proven over 5 years he sucks at the position...

I bet you were saying let's start Pickles over Cam 2011 right?? Hahahahaha

Cowboys were really no threat to the defense last week, they have no legit threat at wr and their qb showed he’s not ready to lead a team on his own.

Against Atl our front 7 will have to play possibly better than they did against the Boyz or our secondary will get blitzed

If Seracy doesn't  make it.. Jones is chopped Sirloin for those receiving threats and that QB...

You are alone here.

And that means what??

Just because you're a sheep doesn't mean I'm wrong..

Your opinion my opinion don't have to be the same thing..

The only difference is history.. And history says Jones is a good special teamer that the team knows isn't a quality safety starter over the long run...

Or they wouldn't keep bringing in cheap options that they feel are still better than just playing him..

Excuse my unrelated post, but I'd like to start a new thread, but am having trouble doing so.  When i click "Create New Content," Panthers News and Talk is greyed out, and something called Smack Talk is the only option.

If that's because I'm a NEWB on the block, I get it.  If it's something I'm doing wrong, please advise.  And thanks to whomever has the courtesy to reply.

Which would make Gauldin a comparitive Nakamura.

How??

Again I love how you guys compare a rookie to vets..

Nakamura is more comparable to jones.. Both vets who have proven over time they can't play safety...

Oh and Nakamura another example why you can question this staff decision making when it comes to the safety position..

How long was he allowed to suck before "injuries" not actual coaching common sense forced him off the field??
