Sean Lee is Luke Kuechly

I did not know Lee still played for Dallas until  around the late second quarter.  That must have been when he got his tackle...

Going out on a limb here--Yes, I remember the Bear LBs.  I know Wagner is a good player--but Luke is, if you consider his entire game, from intelligence to first step to toughness to speed--the best MLB to ever play.  There are no equals--even if Buck is trying to kiss Aikman's butt by singing the Cowboys' praises.

90% of the game I thought I was listening to the Cowboy network.  Too much damn slobbing all over them.  Aikman should be banned from doing their games because I swear I heard him say We once or twice.

Sean Lee is a solid LB....one of the best right now. Luke is THE best playing the position now and one of the best to ever play it. Both may get a gold jacket at the end of their careers, but Luke will have earned it. Lee would only get it because he was a cowboy.

I don't think they give out gold jackets that freely. Sean Lee doesn't deserve one.

Sean Lee eats a Snickers bar and turns back into Luke Keuchly.

Can Sara Lee be compared to Luke Skywalker?

No idea if the broadcasters really believe that stuff, but they have to pander to their market, and there were a LOT of Cowboy fans watching this featured game.  Every viewer saw for himself that there is NO comparison between the two, other than the position they take at the start of every play.

And a slab of pie for Luke, who came back in, after being hurt -- and another double slice for RT Williams, who gutted out a great performance vs a good pass rusher.  Just envision the chaos had he not willed himself to go, after a dislocated kneecap, and Amini started at RT?!?

Given his injury history, I think it's probably more appropriate to compare Sean Lee to Dan Morgan than it is to Luke Kuechly. Even there though, Morgan was a significantly better player.

I think media in general, not just Aikman, has a tendency to overrate players because they play for certain teams. Patriots players get overrated simply because they play for the Patriots, at least that makes sense though. Same for guys that play for the Steelers.

Cowboy players get overrated based on the popularity of the team and / or their tradition. Frankly, that's just silly, but it's a long established habit (was Dat Nguyen really all that good) and probably isn't going away anytime soon.

Side Note: I think guys who play positions following a line of historically good players get overrated a lot too. Bears middle linebacker, Steelers defensive line and Cowboys quarterback are examples.

More than once Aikman was singing the praises of Sean Lee who would almost immediately miss a tackle. It happened late in the game when he missed the tackle of McCaffery.:)

Nobody could solo tackle CMC in open space it was incredible.

It’s really the perfect setup. They were spying CMC so cam started to run. When they put the spy back on cam CMC was open in the flat every time.

Agreed.  Though I don't think Morgan would ever have been as great as Luke, Morgan was *(&@ good.  Likewise Beason.  Anyone who doubts that the Panthers have, year after year, the best LB's in the game is obviously not watching the same league.
